I relocated to Northern Kentucky over 20 years ago and quickly adopted Florence as home.  Being surrounded by fine art it naturally became an important part of my life.  As a young adult I turned to photography and enjoyed a brief career as a photographer.  After growing tired of portraits and a studio atmosphere, however, I decided it was best as a hobby while I focused on other pursuits.

I remained creative and explored different types of arts and crafts including Lego portraiture.  Using non-traditional media to create beautiful works of art became a preferred, if unexpected, theme in my work.

Finally I began painting with acrylics, incorporating found objects as an alternate method of applying mediums to my canvas.  Simple household items like bottle caps, erasers and chopsticks become assistants to my brushes.  In addition to my fine art abstracts, my visions are literally brought to life on canvas in an explosion of color and texture as I record and paint my own voice modulations…combining two of the five senses and creating artistic visualizations by designing a work of art around an audio sound wave!
